UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS

The Empowerment Academy is a uniform school and we expect our students to dress like scholars. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to send his/her child each day in a clean uniform.

Pre-K through Grade 5

  • White uniform shirt with or without the school emblem and hunter green pants
    (for Girls: green pants, plaid pants, skirt, skort or, jumper).

  • Hunter green, black, navy, white, or gray cardigan sweaters

  • Hunter green dress shorts for warm weather

  • Solid green, white, or navy blue tights or socks

Grades 6-8

SIXTH

  • Yellow uniform shirt with out without the school emblem and blue pants. (for girls: plaid pants, skirt, skort or, jumper )
     

SEVENTH

  • Green uniform shirt with out without the school emblem and blue pants. (for girls: plaid pants, skirt, skort or, jumper )
     

EIGHTH

  • Red uniform shirt with out without the school emblem and blue pants. (for girls: plaid pants, skirt, skort or, jumper )

  • Hunter green, navy,  black, white, or gray cardigan sweaters

  • Solid green, white, or navy blue tights or socks

All Grades

FOOTWEAR

  • Bucks, black or brown leather dress shoes, Mary-Janes, Saddle Shoes, black sneakers/shoes, black or brown winter boots (when appropriate-no colored laces, sequins, artwork, lights, fringes, fur etc.)

PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND DANCE UNIFORM

  • Hunter green sweatpants (shorts when weather-appropriate) and white t-shirt (with or without the school emblem); Students are permitted to wear any color of the required footwear on P.E. days ONLY if they come to school in their P.E. uniform.

*When the school is involved in special activities/events, all parents will receive a letter notifying you of the event and the type of apparel that can be worn. Uniforms are mandatory at The Empowerment Academy.
